Every year, the holiday brief arrives at the agency and we are faced with the daunting challenge of how to make Macy’s their customers primary destination for all of their holiday shopping.
2020 was a very different year as we’d lived through a pandemic, which had forced many of us to look at the world through a slightly difference lens. Meaningful connections were more powerful than ever before, which led us to “Walking in Dad’s shoes”. It is based on the well-known adage that you don’t really know someone until you’ve walked in their shoes.
In 2020, the Magic of Macy’s came in the form of a pair of magical shoes that took a daughter on a journey that showed her all the amazing things her father did for her and the family. A journey that inspired the perfect gift.
